Lesson Part 2.7 - Giving full answers

In Step 2.5, Simon gave you this advice:

Always expand your answers to simple, ‘yes’ or ‘no’ closed questions. (Questions beginning ‘Are you…’, ‘Do you …’, etc).
Think about how you would expand your answers to these questions:

  • Do you like your job?
  • Do you hope to do this job for a long time?
  • Do you still live in the town where you grew up?
  • Do you think it has changed since you were young?
  • Do you like reading?
  • Do you think people will continue to read books in the future?

Well, I would like trying to answer with these questions:

    - Do you like your job?
Answer:

Yes I Do, I like so much with my job. I play role as High Value Customer Head in Telco Company in Indonesia, and it is so challanging for me. I responsible for maintaining the high value customer in my company, doing some retention and loyalty program to retain existing customers, developing post-paid product, by managing 4 sub-ordinates under my responsibility. I meet so many people, and It prove so much with the way of speaking of personal communication. And also improve my managerial skills. I also have keep thing in my mind that always search the opportunity behind the challange, that's mean I can get so many opportunities for each role that i should responsible to. So, I always enjoy with every part in my job then.

    - Do you hope to do this job for a long time?

Answer:
Yes I Do, I love with the Company. Our company is the biggest Telco in Indonesia, we serve the customers with the widest coverage area in Indonesia. As part of this great company, we have to update with newest technology likely Telco trends, Gadget, and others stuff that enrich our knowledge about ICT. And before I joined in Telco Company, I have worked in Multinational IT Company, so thats why I love so much with the ICT Company. And it make me want to stay for a long time to this lovely company then.

    - Do you still live in the town where you grew up?
Answer:
No, I don't. I don't live at my hometown. My parent lives in Jambi, once of province in Sumatera Island in Indonesia. Since I continued my first degree study in Padang City, West Sumatera Indonesia for almost 12 hours by car. And After finished my study, I got my first job in a IT Multinational Company in Jakarta, Indonesia. And also live in some different city like in Lampung, Medan, Palembang. And now, I live in Bengkulu, as my job role in Telco Company for almost 3 years here.

    - Do you think it has changed since you were young?
Answer:
Yes, I do. It has so many changed since I was young till right now. I regularly visit my hometown to meet my family, and there are so many changes in my hometown like more crowd people in Jambi, right now. There are so many Shoping Mall, So many improvement for Transportation Infrastructure, and others. Next time, Jambi City will be the biggest city in Sumatera Island, beside Medan, Palembang and Pekanbaru, I thought.

    - Do you like reading?
Answer:
Off course I do. I like reading so much. Especially likely Fiction Novels, Motivation and Inspiring Books, Marketing and Technology Books and Magazines. I made my self to be used for reading 3-4 books a month. And after finishing the books, I always make a review for the books, that I will share in my blog, social media like Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. And I have joined Goodreads, a website that as a reference for you to know about the books. You can join, and give any review for the books that you have already read. I love reading books so much, It will help me to know more about World and Universe.
 

    - Do you think people will continue to read books in the future?
Answer:
Yes, I Do. I think people will always need to read the books. But in the future, the way of reading will difference. People will used to read the book by digital, likely using the smartphone. You know that, there are some Application that you can use for reading and but the digital E-Books in IOS and Android Operating System, likely Kindle, Play Books, Scoope, and others apps that help you to read. It just change the the way of writing. But people will always need to read, I thought.
